The Orbit infant system is a combination of three component parts designed for quick and easy installation in your car and|or being used as a stroller. The three parts consist of Car Seat, Car Base and Stroller. Car seat weighs 9 lbs., stroller weighs 14 lbs. and the base weighs 13 lbs. The 3 piece system is available for infants|babies up to 22 lbs and 29". The new addition, the Green Edition Pram is easily fitted to the original Infant System. Even better news, Orbit's newest innovation will allow the combo collection to grow as your baby grows. Orders are being taken already for the new Orbit innovation, the Orbit Baby Toddler car seat combo (15-50lbs.) which will be on the market in March, 2008.
Orbit car seat is also termed Infant Carrier complies with all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The seat ergonomically rotates for simple docking and undocking. It is fitted with full EPP foam liner for maximum energy absorption and can be easily removed for cleaning. The seat is protected with ballistic nylon skin and is padded for carrying comfort. An exclusive sunshade extension provides extra coverage for your baby|infant. The car seat easily docks onto the stroller frame and base by a SmartHub dock which makes it an unique travel system by Orbit.

The Orbit Base incorporates a StrongArm technology fitting, SmartHub. Because of this fitting, the car seat clips onto the base from any angle without having to check for grooves or notches, etc. The seat can then be rotated into the correct rear-facing position in the car. The technology system is strong enough to be used for a future Toddler car seat which will be launched later by Orbit.
